Administrative Coordinator Requirements and Skills:
To become an administrative coordinator, a minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required. But many employers would rather hire people with a college degree in business administration or a related field. In addition, administrative coordinators are expected to have at least two years of experience in an administrative or related role.
The essential skills for an administrative coordinator include strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. You must be able to communicate well with people at all levels of the organization, including senior management, and you must be able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines by using your time well.
